Star Pine Lodge

Star Pine Lodge is a small but perfectly formed venue in a wonderful location, 5 minutes walk from the Atlantic sea in the Sintra peninsular near Lisbon. Less than an hour away from the airport and near some of the fabulous sights of the region it is an ideal place to for a week of yoga practice and relaxing.

The Sintra area is fabled for it's amazing palaces, castles and natural beauty, and has been a place to come to relax for Kings and Queens for hundreds of years. Activities such as surfing, rock-climbing and off-road biking can easily be arranged. And a choice of two lovely beaches a short walk away is hard to beat.


The venue has been tastefully and imaginatively designed using locally-sourced recycled materials where possible. Top quality mattresses are used so there is nothing between you and a blissful sleep. Bathrooms are modern and practical. There are five twin rooms in the main house which share three bathrooms between them, and two triple rooms in the annexe which are both en-suite.

Yoga Space

The yoga space in the grounds is cleverly constructed from reclaimed timber and has plenty of options for letting in fresh sea air when wanted, or kept snug for when temperatures are lower.


Fresh vegetarian food is provided - with an emphasis on locally sourced produce and delicious, healthy food!

Local Area

Star Pine Lodge is situated 5 minutes from the sea a couple of kilometers from the small town of Colares in the province of Sintra. Sintra is famed for it's unique geological features and cool micro-climate, as well as being a fantastic holiday destination.

Getting Here

The best way of getting here is to fly to Lisbon Airport which is only about 40 minutes drive away. We can then arrange transfers from there.
